A 501(c)(3) public charity
A place for families to practice giving.
Our mission is to make charitable giving simpler, more accountable, and more lasting, for families who give, for community projects that need a lawful home, and for the organizations those gifts support.

Programs
Three ways to work with us
Each is a program of the charity. None of them opens itself. A conversation confirms the public fees and whether a fund, a project, or both is the right path.
Open a Legacy Fund
A donor-advised fund, $0 to open. We assess 1% on incoming contributions. The fund is a place to recommend grants over time.
Legacy FundsHouse a project
Fiscal sponsorship for work that is not yet its own 501(c)(3). There is a $500 start fee and 10% of incoming contributions.
Fiscal sponsorshipSupport a foundation
Administration and reporting for an existing foundation. We do not replace counsel.
What we doFees
Public fees
These are the public fees. A first conversation confirms them. We do not charge a fee on a balance sitting in a fund. We do not pay referral fees.
| Vehicle | To open | On incoming gifts | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paramount Legacy Fund (DAF) | $0 to open | 1% on incoming contributions | A fund may be opened with no minimum. There is no setup fee. The 1% applies to what comes in. |
| Fiscal sponsorship | $500 start fee | 10% of incoming contributions | The start fee is paid by the project at intake. Sponsored projects operate as programs of Paramount Impact. |
Nothing on this site opens an account by itself. Fees are confirmed in conversation and written into the account or sponsorship agreement.
How we work
A lawful home for the work of giving
Start with what the family believes
We begin with the work the family wants to support, and with what it will not fund. That conversation comes before any account is opened.
Choose a fund, a project, or both
Most families need a donor-advised fund to recommend grants. When the work is theirs to operate, fiscal sponsorship can house the project. A private foundation is the exception, not the starting point.
Confirm the public fees
A Paramount Legacy Fund opens at $0, with 1% on incoming contributions. Fiscal sponsorship has a $500 start fee and 10% of incoming contributions. A first conversation confirms them.
Keep counsel in the room
Attorneys, CPAs, and wealth managers remain the relationship owners. We hold the charity, the file, and the ordinary work of receiving, recording, and granting.
